FEDERAL RESERVE BANK OF KANSAS CITY, KANSAS ANNOUNCES REAPPOINTMENT OF RICHARD L. LEWIS

DENVER, Colorado, January 6. 2016 (eReleases) — The Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, Kansas announced the reappointment of Richard L. Lewis, President and CEO, RTL Networks, Inc. to a three-year term by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System effective Jan. 1, 2016. Richard Lewis joined the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City’s Denver Branch Board of Directors in January 2012.

The Federal Reserve’s responsibilities include conducting monetary policy; supervising and regulating banks and financial institutions and maintaining stability of the financial system; providing financial services to the U.S. government, U.S. financial institutions, and foreign official institutions; and involvement in operating and overseeing the nation’s payments systems. Members of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City represent the Tenth Federal Reserve District: Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Wyoming, northern New Mexico, and western Missouri. As a Branch Bank Director, Lewis will play a role in forming monetary and credit policy and serve as a “bridge” between the Federal Reserve System and the community and private sector.

Lewis is the President and CEO of RTL Networks, Inc. RTL Networks is a technology solutions provider delivering staff augmentation, reselling of hardware and products, and professional IT services. RTL Networks has an energy division focused on high voltage power distribution and transmissions systems and services.

Lewis is a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy and William and Mary’s MBA program with more than 25 years of military and corporate leadership experience. He received his honorable discharge from the U. S. Air Force at the rank of captain after serving his country in Desert Storm/Operation Southern Watch and various domestic and international assignments.
