RTL Networks, Inc. and L3 Communications win FPS2 Contract

Denver, Colorado, October 23, 2009- On July 24, 2009, The United States Air force awarded the Force Protection Security System (FPS2) contract to three contractors: L3 Communications, Northrop Grumman and Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC). RTL Networks, Inc. is a subcontractor to L3 Communications for the FPS2 contract which is valued at $495,000,000.

The FPS2 contract will provide the Air Force Materiel Command, Electronic Systems Center (ESC) with equipment acquisition, site surveys, design and installation, Contractor Support, Technical Support, Developmental Projects, studies or demonstrations and data. The FPS2 Contract is managed out of the 642nd Electronic Systems Squadron of Hanscom Air Force Base in Massachusetts.
